Public engagement efforts can lead to meaningful policy changes, and locally sustained efforts, that respond to climate threats. This presentation will share about Maine Public Health Association's efforts to provide practical information to the public, policymakers and health professionals about climate change and health; as well as our work with the Maine Climate Council, including helping to pass recent bipartisan legislation on safe and resilient housing.
