MCD Global Health, in collaboration with Healthy Communities of the Capital Area (HCCA), is seeking a Senior Program Associate – Tobacco Treatment & Prevention to support tobacco and nicotine prevention and treatment initiatives throughout Kennebec County, Maine. 

This hybrid position will work directly with youth in local high schools, providing individual and group tobacco cessation support, collaborating with school staff and community partners, and implementing evidence-based tobacco prevention strategies. The role also supports community-level policy, systems, and environmental change initiatives, partner training and technical assistance, program evaluation, data tracking, grant reporting, and budget monitoring. 

The position is based in Hallowell, Maine, and requires regular travel throughout Kennebec County, including approximately 2–3 days per week in local schools. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field or equivalent relevant experience. Experience in public health, youth programming, behavioral health, counseling/social work, tobacco prevention/treatment, or grant-funded programs is highly desirable. 

Candidates must have a valid Maine driver’s license, reliable transportation, and authorization to work in the U.S.
