Tomorrow (Thursday, April 9), 1pm at the State House Welcome Center MPHA will be hosting a press event.  We are thrilled that Speaker of the House Hannah Pingree will be speaking as well Representative Pat Jones, Dr. Dora Mills, and MPHA President Emily Rines.  All senators and representatives have been invited to this event by MPHA and by Speaker Pingree, so don't miss your opportunity to come meet, greet and educate your legislators on public health while networking with your fellow public health professionals.  We will be highlighting photos from the This Is Public Health campaign, playing the new APHA video (see link below), reading a proclomation signed by the Governor and providing general information about public health and the impact we have on the daily lives of the general public.  We need your support!
