Get Ready Action Team Through a grant and resources from the American Public Health Association, MPHA is embarking on an all-hazards preparedness campaign called Get Ready. MPHA has committed to implementing at least five Get Ready activities each year. We have gathering a team of emergency preparedness professionals from around the State to facilitate this process. Our team has identified individual and community level education as a priority in our efforts and has worked on material creation and dissemination throughout the State over the past two years. In late 2009 MPHA received grants from Maine Health Access Foundation and Maine Emergency Management Agency to conduct a state-wide emergency preparedness campaign using mostly electonic mediums to motivate Mainers to create a kit. This campaign will begin February 2010. For more information, please jump to www.mainepublichealth.org/getready
