Event Description: LANA's Medical Interpreter Training is a 100-hour certificate program that supports national medical interpreting standards of practice. The training covers introduction to the health care system in the U.S., basic anatomy, medical terminology, interpreting exercises, and ethical case studies. Competency certificates are issued to students who complete the whole course and successfully pass the final competency exam.
