Rural Communities Opioid Response Program Coordinator

Somerset Public Health and Redington Fairview General Hospital is looking for a Rural Communities Opioid Response Program Coordinator. This is a full time (40hrs) 1-year time-limited position, with benefits.

The Program Coordinator will be 100% funded to direct the day to day activities of the HRSA-funded Rural Communities Opioid Response Program (RCORP)-Planning grant. The Program Coordinator will facilitate the collection, compilation, and reporting of input from Consortium Members to create a comprehensive plan to improve prevention and treatment of Opioid Use Disorder. The Program Coordinator will demonstrate skill in recruiting and convening program partners, collecting data, conducting gap analysis, writing reports, creating grant-required products, creating marketing materials, and obtaining locations for meetings and forums. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for communicating with Consortium Members, Program Partners and people in the service area. The Program Coordinator will educate these groups on evidence based practices, recovery-informed language, bias and stigma. The Program Coordinator will monitor expenses to stay within the RCORP-Planning budget. The Program Coordinator will assist the Director in monitoring the activities and outputs of a contracted RCORP-Planning Facilitator to assure quality and to ensure the contractor achieves the contracted deliverables. Knowledge of opioid/substance use disorder prevention and treatment is preferred but not required. Preferred education: A Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline and 7 years’ experience or a Master’s degree and 5 years’ experience in public health or public administration.
