MPHA Releases “Call for Abstracts” for its October 18th Fall Conference

The Maine Public Health Association 2016 Annual Conference “Population. Environment. Policy. #ThisisPublicHealth” will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at the University of Southern Maine – Abromson Center Hannaford Lecture Hall in Portland.

MPHA is pleased to announce its Call for Abstracts for breakout sessions at this year’s conference. Abstracts from all areas of public health are welcome. We encourage abstracts focusing on the theme of Population. Environment. Policy., though this focus is not required. Students are also encouraged to apply.

Abstracts should be no more than 300 words and applications must include learning objectives.
Authors must provide complete and accurate contact information in order to be considered. You do not have to be a member of MPHA to submit an abstract, however, if your abstract is accepted, all presenting authors are required to register for the Annual Meeting.

All abstract and poster forms must be submitted using the application links below no later than Friday, June 10, 2016, at 5:00 p.m.
